Football is the
people’s opium, therefore the N.F.-Board is going to organize a large
distribution for everyone !
I have forgotten the author’s name of this formula, and he will have to
forgive me. The formula in question
remains, whatever happens, after profound verifications, this opium does not
figure on the international list of prohibited substances…
Certain governments use and abuse it since a long time ago. Also one shows off the valour of the national
team, or even simply shedding light on a large world football event, so as to
hide the troubles, the crises, the everyday misery. Brazil
knows something about this with the “favelas”.
Football is the most popular sport in the world, everyone knows
that, even our leaders, above all our leaders of course!
It’s in the name of this, to simply give some dreams to the people who
are deprived of those dreams, to the people who haven’t chosen their situation,
but who also love football (much more than the wars that they put up with).
It’s in the name of this, that we are going to organize a gigantic
distribution for those who the rest of the world would like to ignore. For
those also who are simply isolated because of the geographical distance, and
cut off by the rest of the planet.
We have one wish, which is to show you the joy of those who thanks to
football are going to be able to meet each other. We know what that means, even when it comes
to the young who are not the U-15 of the Tibetan national team who contradict
me after what they have lived during the last tour in France and Monaco (in the
presence of SAS the Prince Albert himself).
The images that stay engraved in their minds for the rest of their
lives. The children, who have never seen
trainings, are amazed in the principality of Monaco, thanks to the connection
established by the OMF between the leaders of two federations. The right to play football will therefore not
be contested (less by the democracies) … For the rest we will see, but we know
already that certain alliances will be made against the organization of certain
matches: Certain who see each other rarely, will speak…., it is already one of
the positive effects of the N.F.-Board!
And then let’s remember the Greenland example where the
autonomous government hadn’t surrendered to the very strong economic pressure
from China opposed to a match against Tibet which finally took place, in a
stadium bursting with people and under the cameras of Reuters, where the images
made the world over.
We are going to quickly make you aware of the first “menu” of
matches which we are preparing actively for the months which follow! In the programme, Tibet-Chechnya, Corsica-Pays
Basque, Kosova-Kurdistan, North Cyprus (RTCN)-Lapland (Sapmi),
Gibraltar-Western Sahara (RASD), Vatican-Tibet, etc..
It will be the occasion for new federations to enter in lists (Chagos,
Somaliland, Easter Island…) and to go and play football on new grounds
(Svalbard, Bougainville, Seborga, Saint-Helena…)
What’s more the N.F.-Board who will hold it’s 1st General
Assembly 19th May 2004 in Paris, is going to put in touch the
federations of it’s “Potential List” so that the first exchanges can be
created.
In 2005 there will be the
“Viva World Cup TM” and three
countries have already given applications to host it.
The N.F.-Board wish that all
the people, all the organizations, all the communities, all the world media and
all those who believe in these projects let us know, in writing, by fax, by
email…..,like thousands of people have already done since our birth the 12th
December last year.
